Why I'm running this one for MSKCC
Running has been part of my life since cross country and track — countless early mornings, hard workouts, and races that taught me what it means to keep going when it gets uncomfortable. This year I'm putting that experience toward something bigger than a finish time.
Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center supports patients and families through some of the hardest days of their lives, and funds research that changes outcomes for people fighting cancer. Every training run this fall is in service of that fundraising goal — and every donation, big or small, moves it forward.
"I can train for the miles. What I can't do alone is fund the research — that part is up to all of us."
